Three steps from idea to launch
Most of my projects go from first call to launch in under three weeks.
Tell me what you need
Fifteen minutes on the phone. You walk me through what's broken and what you wish you had. I tell you whether I can actually help or not.
I build it
I text you a preview link every couple days. Flag anything weird while it's cheap to change. No client portal, no ticket system, just my cell.
You launch
Your site goes live, I walk you through the admin in person, and I stick around for 30 days to fix anything that comes up. You get the full source code, no vendor lock-in.
One developer. I answer the phone. I write the code.
I'm Matthew. I started Redwood Digital because I was tired of watching Frederick businesses pay agency retainers for a website nobody touches and a junior dev they never meet. With me, you get one person. I scope the work, I build it, I hand it off in person.
If the AI phone agent is the job, I set it up, write the scripts with you, and send you a weekly report of what it booked. No call centers, no account managers, no BS.
What it actually sounds like.
No stock testimonials. One real after-hours call, and the outcome it booked.
Skip the transcript. Call the number, say your heater is out, and the AI will triage you and book a slot. You'll get an SMS confirmation when it's done.
This line answers as our Frederick HVAC demo agent, not a real business. Two-minute call. Your phone number isn't stored after the session. Also shipped from scratch: an employee coaching app and a workplace voice-to-text tool for teams. See custom apps
Three ways to start.
No contracts. No per-minute billing. Fixed prices, in-person handoff.

Common questions
Starter Pack & Retainer
A mobile-first website (1-3 pages), a full Google Business Profile setup and cleanup (photos, hours, categories, services), and a review request system that nudges happy customers to leave a review. One flat fee, one week to live.
One week from sign-off. The first few days are a short kickoff call plus collecting your logo, photos, and hours. I handle the rest. You approve the draft, I push it live.
Whichever makes sense. If your existing site is slow or broken on phones, I rebuild it. If it's decent but the Google listing is neglected, we focus there. Either way it's the same $99.
Any time, no penalty. You keep your site and your Google Business Profile. The retainer covers monthly updates, new photos, GBP posts, and review replies. Most businesses stay once they see leads come in, but you're never locked in.
You own it. I get added as a manager during setup so I can update it, and I step off any time you ask. Your account, your listing. I just get it to look like you actually run a real business.
Custom App Questions
Yes, 100%. You get the full source code. No licensing fees, no vendor lock-in. If you want to take it to another developer down the road, you can.
I set up hosting as part of the project. Most apps run on modern platforms that cost $0-20/month. I'll walk you through what it costs and how it works before we start.
Every project comes with 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and small tweaks. After that, I offer monthly retainers for ongoing updates, or you can hire me for one-off changes as needed.
We agree on scope and price before I start. If you want to add something significant mid-project, I'll quote the addition separately so there are no surprises. Small tweaks during development are always included.
Usually, yes. Google Calendar, Stripe, email services, spreadsheets. Most tools have APIs I can connect to. We'll figure out integrations during the scoping call.
Let's talk about what you need
Book a 15-minute call. We'll talk about what you need and whether I'm the right fit. If I'm not, I'll say so.
Book a 15-Min CallGet in touch
I reply within a few business hours, usually same day. The 15-minute call is just me asking what's broken and telling you what it'd cost to fix. No slide deck, no follow-up emails unless you ask for them.
